ESXi Guest’s “virtual HDD” Read/Write latency monitoring

    Hi,
I’m looking for a right way to monitor ESXi guests, not HOSTs…
Two thing I’m interested in are: write latency and read latency for the virtual HDDs. Guests are Windows based (we do have linux as well), so basically I can use perf_mon counters. VSphere client provides these graphs for up to 24 hours, but it’s not enough!!!

I’ve tried perf_mon counters for physical disk’s write/sec and read /sec , but it gives little bit diffirent values compared with Vpshre’s client... should I use Deferent ones ? or it is possible that I don’t understand clearly perf_mon counters …
which ones should I use to get this information.

Hi buddy, are you still using this? What we have working right now is Vcenter for monitoring. Take a look at it. Not really sure if that's what you're looking for by the way.
